Organized by itchefs-GVCI, in collaboration with the Association CHIC, the Milan FINAL Challenge will be held Friday, October 19 starting 17:30 hrs, framed by the prestigious seventeenth century historical Villa Torretta, a few minutes from the center of Milan. The initiative, which is part of the calendar of Milano Golosa organized by Gastronauta Davide Paolini, has Ferrarelle, Grana Padano and Terre del Sole as supporters.
The winners of the Hong Kong (Eyck Zimmer), New York (Olivia Bonomi Todorov) and Moscow (Bruno Marino) challenges during the last year will compete also against seven renowned Italian chefs from CHIC association: Fabio Baldassarre (Ristorante Unico – Milano), Andrea Gabin (La Mondina – Marudo, Lodi), Luca Collami (Baldin – Genova), Sergio Vineis (Il Patio – Pollone, Biella), Athos Migliari (Locanda La Chiocciola – Portomaggiore, Ferrara), Carmine Calò (Il Salviatino – Firenze) e Paolo Trippini (Trippini – Civitella del Lago, Terni).
Two juries, one technical and one from the blogosphere, will share the task of choosing the winner of this final challenge. President for both juries Davide Paolini, journalist, critic and radio host, also known as Gastronauta. The judging panel will include, among others, Francesca D'Orazio (writer, cooking teacher and culinary consultant), Tano Simonato (Chef Patron Tano passami l´olio - Milan), Claudio Sacco (founder and director of Traveler Gourmet - High class), Alex Guzzi (journalist of the Corriere della Sera, restaurateur and sommelier), and Fabiano Guatteri (food and wine writer, journalist and food critic).
